Sometimes one question leads to another. For instance, Why does Ahmadinnerjacket want to nuke Israel? That leads to a larger question, Why do ALL the Arabs want to wipe out the Jews?
Forget "Israel's occupation of Palestine." Forget "Israel's independence in 1948." Forget "parsing" this cause or that cause, this grievance or that grievance; the Arabs ALWAYS want to have a grievance, and if it's not one thing, it's another. I really, truly believe it all goes back to Jacob and Esau.
Two brothers, twins in fact, are born, but "Jacob have I loved" and Esau have I hated. Badda-boom, Bob's your uncle-- instant Arab/Jew hatred, going all the way back to Old-Testament times. The Jews are God's chosen people, and the Arabs are also-rans. And so an enormous load of envy, jealousy and hatred is bred into the bones of the seed of Esau! It's in the blood, and it's not coming out, no matter how much territory Israel cedes to the Palestinians.
Sometimes it seems Islam is a medieval, heathen, bloodthirsty pseudo-religion. But it's not medieval. It goes back way farther than that.
