Defining Deviancy Away

This recently-failed "immigration reform" bill was the biggest example of "defining deviancy down" we've seen yet. It wasn't just defining deviancy down, it was defining deviancy away.

You say too many people break the law, and you don't have the guts to enforce the law? Well, just declare illegality legal!

You say you don't have the guts to do what it takes to enforce the law? Well, "reform" the law! We can't expect all those criminals out there to reform themselves. We have to reform ourselves! We have to apologize and kiss up to the criminals for the bad, bad thing we did by passing our laws.

You say you don't have the courage to get mad at the people who are invading our country? Well,get mad at our own citizens, who think we have a right to determine our country's destiny, and not have it determined by the lowest trash from some other country who feel free to flout our laws.

The Immigration "Throw Up Your Hands" Bill

News Item:
====================================================
                  Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., his party's lead negotiator on the bill, called its defeat "enormously disappointing for Congress and for the country." But, he added:  "We will be back. This issue is not going away."
====================================================

Kennedy hates this country, and he won't stop trying to flood it with Mexicans, Africans -- anybody but a white Christian European. Too bad he's "disappointed"!

About this "reform" bill -- it's really a "throw up our hands bill". Congress throws up its hands and says, "We can't stop illegal immigration. We can't deport anybody. We can't make illegal Mexicans pay taxes. We can't stop employers from hiring them. All we can do is invent high-minded, noble-sounding reasons why it's very virtuous to allow them to stay. We're sanctimonious defeatists."

 What hypocrites!

Once, the Japanese; now, the Mexicans

In the lead-up to World War II, Ogden Nash wrote a poem about the acquisitive habits of the Japanese:

How courteous is the Japanese;
He always says, "Excuse, it please."
He climbs into his neighbor's garden,
And smiles, and says, "I beg your pardon";
He bows and grins a friendly grin,
And calls his hungry family in;
He grins and bows a friendly bow;
"So sorry, this my garden now."
,

That's much like our Mexican invaders. It's just a good thing that back in 1941, we didn't have a lot of squishy,  suck-up legislators like Trent Lot, Harry (the Smarmy Ghost) Reid,  and Nancy Pellegra to make excuses for the Japanese and advise us, "Just lie down and take it." And we didn't tolerate fifth-column agents like Geraldo Rivera and Nancy Lopez,  working for the enemy and pretending to be working for our country's welfare.  Back then, we knew trash and treason when we saw them.

Casper the Smarmy Ghost Tells On The Republicans

From the New York Times:

     The office of Mr. Reid, who had emphatically sought to hold Republicans accountable for sabotaging a presidential priority, distributed a document titled “Republicans Brought Down the Immigration Bill.”
     It listed news reports and Republican statements that put the onus on the president’s party. “Last night, Republicans torpedoed comprehensive immigration reform,” the statement said.

Isn't he precious! Casper the Smarmy Ghost thinks he's scoring points on the Republicans by telling us they scuttled the immigration bill? Casper needs to get out of town more and visit "the folks" (as Bill O'Reilly calls us).

Casper is so stupid and smug, he can't even conceive of such a thing as honest people of good will opposing the travesty he and a few senators dreamed up. He thinks, whatever liberals in Congress are in favor of, that's the voice of God and the view of all right-thinkers.

He thinks people will be fooled just because Senatorial autocrats slap the "reform" sticker on the side of the bill. He thinks the Senate can sell this country down the river, and all they have to do to get us to accept it, is spread a lot of deceitful, shabby rhetoric around.

All of this proves: we're smarter than he thinks we are, and he's far stupider than a senator has any right to be.
