Selling Off The National Furniture

News Item:

Two conservative members of the U.S. Senate have anonymously placed a hold on Sen. Barack Obama's (D-Ill.) global poverty bill, Cybercast News Service has learned.

The effort is an attempt to slow down the progress of a bill . . . that conservative analysts say could eventually force the U.S. to increase its foreign aid by hundreds of billions of dollars.

I think members of our Congress will have to start getting used to the fact that we're not rich anymore. They've thrown away the basis for our prosperity which has been built up ever since this nation was founded. So we can't be benefactors to the world anymore; go ask China for money.

Our simple-minded legislators have complacently allowed our manufacturing capacity -- our ability to actually make something, instead of being a pitiful, helpless giant -- to be shipped to our competitors.  They now have all the capacity to make money; we only have the capacity to spend money. How can that continue? By our going into debt up to our eyeballs -- hell, to our grandchildren's eyeballs. And now, we're selling off the furniture -- we're seeing foreign Sovereign Wealth Funds buying up what financial, money-making ventures remain in this country.

We're impoverishing this nation at a breakneck pace. Why? Because it wouldn't be "nice," it wouldn't be politically correct, to attempt to protect our own interests. It's our job to cut our throats, so the rest of the world can drink the blood.

That's what our mutant Congress is doing. People like Obama have very few ideas, and those they have are wrong. But foremost among them is that we're the whole problem with the world, we're always wrong, we owe the rest of the world anything they want, and especially, white people are the cancer of the world. That's the view of Obama's racist, white-baiting "spiritual mentor," and that's no doubt his view.

Chinese Spies

News item:

WASHINGTON - A Defense Department analyst and a former engineer for Boeing Co. were accused Monday in separate spy cases with helping deliver military secrets to the Chinese government, the Justice Department said.

Additionally, two immigrants from China and Taiwan accused of working with the defense analyst were arrested after an FBI raid Monday morning on a New Orleans home where one of them lived.

What the F--- are all these Chinese doing in our country? Why are they infesting our universities, mostly in engineering, computer science, and other highly technical subjects? Why are a plethora of Chinese spies perpetrating dirty tricks to finance Hillary's campaign?

And for that matter, why are we importing the Muslims, Nigerians, Vietnamese, Sudanese, etc., etc.? Do we really need to import trouble? Don't we have enough of our own?

Do we need to import people who have nothing in common with us, who share no assumptions with us, and who are opposed to all our basic values? It's national suicide.

We can thank Ted Kennedy for a lot of this. He apparently hates his country in its present form, and wants to transform it by importing every third-world barbarian he can find.

Obama's Platform

As best I can infer, Obama's presidential platform is as follows:

"Policies? I don't got no policies! I don't need no policies! I don't gotta show you any steenking policies! I'm black. You gotta vote for me, or you're a red-neck racist. So shut up about policies."

Well, nice campaigning if you can get away with it.

The Pissant Hall Monitors of Canada

Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant against various Canadian "Human Rights Commissions" -- that's a battle we all have to join, here in what passes for Western Civilization.

You probably know the story -- Steyn expressed opinions, and Levant republished cartoons, which some medieval heathens among us -- or, among the Canadians -- want to stifle.

(Side issue: just why are these medieval heathens among us? Do we have so little trouble that we need to import it? And why do they want to come to this continent, since they hate our form of society? They can mean no good.)

But about those commissions, and the imperious little feeble-minded bureaucrats who man them: Are we going to let the Hillary-Clinton types of the world take over our lives? I mean the little, prissy, high school hall-monitor, suck-up types who find their greatest joy in exercising power over their fellow human beings, in throwing their weight around, and in making others conform to their priggish attitudes and ideas of proper behavior. God forbid that we come under the thrall of such puny little malicious ego-maniacs and tinhorn would-be dictators.
