NewsBusters says,
Washington Post associate editor Eugene Robinson Friday called the growing ClimateGate
scandal a "major embarrassment for the scientists involved" that
undermines the "consensus" concerning man's role in global warming.
That's like reading an editorial which said this:
Nativist Times editor Joe Smerdlap deplored the fact that Protocols of the Elders of Zion had been proved to be a hoax. He called the scandal a "major embarrassment for the anti-Semites involved," one which
undermines the "consensus" that we ought to have a pogrom.
In other words, they're determined to cling to their policies
regardless of what comes to light. And any truth that diverts followers from it, is inconvenient and a nuisance to be swept under the rug. That is a primitive, anti-scientific mindset.
They're bound and determined to adore the Emperor's New Clothes.
